CHANGING ROLES have marked Union Minister for Women and Child Development Smriti Irani. From the lead character in an early evening TV series to a Lok Sabha competitor who wrested the Gandhi family stronghold of Amethi in the 2019 decisions, to an individual from the Cabinet where she, most as of late, directed the Prohibition of Child Marriage (Amendment) Bill, 2021, which tries to raise the legitimate period of marriage for ladies from 18 to 21 years, Irani is currently a creator as well.

The service additionally revised the Juvenile Justice Act, while the hotly anticipated Trafficking in Persons (Prevention, Care and Rehabilitation) Bill, 2021, is to be presented in Parliament soon.
